We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no limit to the adventures we can have if we just seek them out with our eyes wide open.Sri Jawaharlal Nehru
The passion for languages and communication has helped me to develop a high profile that enabled me to communicate in English and French successfully at all levels, and to have a great understanding in customer service.
Public relations bring me to be a people person with a sense of professionalism and respect for all individuals of different social backgrounds. Travelling in the European countries and in the United States has offered me the opportunity to discover, to learn and to adapt to all new environments.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in languages for Interpreting and Translation and a Master's Degree (a short term qualification) in tourism and travels. My university education and the experience of several years within the tourism industry has given me the confidence of building my own company and the pleasure to guide my clients to the most famous tourist attractions.
Tour guides accompany groups of visitors to tourist attractions, whether on day trips or longer visits. It's a very demanding job that combines performance, memory for facts, good story-teller and customer service all in one.
Tour guides must be able to answer specific questions about history, geography, monuments, amenities and more. They need to have exceptional time-management skills and be able to interact with people of different social backgrounds.
What's great about this quality is that in addition to the planned facts and statistics they can bring their own knowledge, experience and personal anecdotes to the tour. This can make a tour feel particurarly special for guests who are looking for a genuine experience outside the typical venues. A very qualified guide must be very knowledgeable and have a keen interest for history, archaeology and foreign languages.
Requirements: good narration skills, improvisational skills, to be good at public speaking as the interpreters do and have good memory for facts, figures and events. Moreover a good guide must have excellent concentration and the ability to prioritize and plan effectively, to be fluent in English and at least on other languages.
All my escorted tours have been personally selected for special interest groups.
